聯合國世界衛生組織指出，每年全球有大約 40萬名0-19歲的兒童與青少年確診癌症！而在香港，一年就有約 180位小勇士 面對這場挑戰。在治療過程中，化療帶來的掉髮常常讓這些孩子感到無助，但其他如內分泌或免疫系統疾病也可能造成相同困擾。這不僅影響他們的外貌，更可能打擊自信心與心理成長——但我們有力量改變這一切！
2026年 4月26日（星期日），俄亥俄州立大學校友會香港分會（OSUACHK） 將舉辦 第五屆「Shave with Love 與光．童行」剃頭活動！我們熱烈歡迎 Brightheaders 志願者們勇敢剃頭，一起點亮希望、傳遞愛！透過親身體驗掉髮，你不僅能 展現對病童的深切關懷，還能親自見證分享活動意義，讓更多人關注病童及其家庭的艱辛。所有籌得款項將 100%捐贈 給支援慈善機構，幫助這些小天使戰勝癌症與疾病！
我們今年再次與香港麥當勞叔叔之家慈善基金(RMHC)攜手在觀塘之家舉辦「Shave with Love 與光．童行」！除了剃頭儀式，我們還會安排活動，讓志願者與住戶兒童家庭近距離交流，為他們帶來歡笑與溫暖！

The United Nations World Health Organization reports that around 400,000 incredible children and teens aged 0–19 are diagnosed with cancer worldwide every year! Right here in Hong Kong, that’s about 180 brave young warriors facing this battle annually. During treatment, chemotherapy often leads to hair loss, and conditions like endocrine or immune disorders can do the same—hitting their confidence and emotional growth hard. But together, we can lift them up with love and joy!
On Sunday, April 26th, 2026, the Ohio State University Alumni Club of Hong Kong (OSUACHK) is hosting our fifth annual “Shave with Love” charity event! We’re calling all amazing volunteers—and our heroic “Brightheaders”—to shave their heads with big smiles, sparking awareness and pouring support into these kids’ lives! By joining in, you’ll feel their journey firsthand, share boundless compassion, and inspire everyone around you about the real challenges these families face. Every dollar raised goes 100% to charities helping kids conquer cancer and other illnesses!
We’re teaming up again with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Hong Kong at their vibrant Kwun Tong House! Beyond the head-shaving celebration, we’ll dive into fun interactive activities to connect, laugh, and bring sunshine to the children and families staying there.
