恩慈的七歲生日願望—分享的禮物

親愛的家人、朋友和同學們：

5月5日，我就要滿七歲啦！🎂

偷偷告訴你們一個小秘密：我的玩具箱早就爆炸了，書架上也塞滿了讀不完的精彩故事。爸爸媽媽在我很小的時候，就教會了我一件很特別的事——當你的心裡裝滿了愛，最好的慶祝方式，就是把這份愛倒一些出來，分給別人。

就像過去幾年一樣，今年，我還是想邀請大家，陪我一起施展這個「分享的小魔法」。請別送我玩一天就可能丟在一旁的新玩具，我想邀請你們，把那份買禮物的心意，變成一個溫暖的大擁抱，送給住在「麥當勞叔叔之家」的小朋友和他們的家人。

那裡有些孩子，必須離開家很遠很遠，才能把病治好。那種感覺真的很辛苦、很孤單。我也曾經在醫院深切治療部待過很漫長的時間，所以我完完全全知道那是什麼滋味。

我的生日願望是：我希望，在他們覺得藥很苦、很難受的時候，這份小小的禮物，能讓他們的心裡感覺到一點點甜。

謝謝爸爸媽媽，教我學會珍惜。
謝謝你們每一個人，陪我一起完成這個願望。

Annabella’s 7th Birthday Wish — A Gift of Sharing

Dear family, friends and classmates, 

I’m turning 7 years old on May 5th! 🎂

I have a little secret to share: my toy box is bursting, and my bookshelf is full of amazing stories. My mom and dad taught me something really special early on in life —when your heart is full of love, the best way to celebrate is to pour some of that love out to others.

As in the past few years, this year I will also be asking for a “Magic Sharing Trick.” Instead of a new toy that I’ll play with for a day, I’d love for you to turn that birthday money into a warm hug of support for the kids and families at Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Some kids there have to be far away from home to get better from being sick. It can feel really hard and lonely, and I've been there so know what it feels like. 

My birthday wish is this: I hope that on a day when the medicine tastes yucky, this little gift makes them feel a tiny bit sweeter.

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for teaching me how to cherish.

Thank you, everyone, for making this wish come true with me.

Knowing how to share? That’s the COOLEST birthday present a 7-year-old could ever get. 🎁
